The ranking of hands as applied in the casino table game of Three Card Poker is discussed here.Cards are drawn from a normal 52 card deck without substitution.Rankings are listed from maximum to minimum.While a hand qualifies for two ranks the maximum value is applied.
Suits are not employed to break ties.
Straight Flush
• Three cards in sequence of the similar suit.
• An Ace can calculate as either high or low.
Three of a Kind
• Three cards of the similar rank.
• Ties are broken by the rank of the three cards.
Straight
• Three cards in sequence.
• Ties are broken by the maximum ranked card in the hand except 3 is applied for a 3, 2, Ace straight.
Flush
• Three cards of the similar suit.
• Ties are broken by rank of the maximum value card, if still tied by the rank of the second maximum card and if still tied by rank of the third maximum value card.
Pair
• Two cards of the similar rank and a third card of dissimilar rank.
• Ties are broken by rank of the paired cards and if still tied by rank of the unpaired card.
Nothing
• Three cards of dissimilar rank and suit, not in sequence.
• Ties are broken by rank of the maximum value card.
